In this video, Tapemark R&D Scientist Marina Ruleva goes into detail about our commercial coater capabilities. Our coater has a wide range of speeds, widths, and temperatures which helps us match our customer's exact needs. We can set our temperatures from anywhere between 100 degrees Fahrenheit to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Our line speeds can be set anywhere between .8 feet per second to 65 feet per second. Lastly, we can adjust our coating width from 3 inches to 22 inches. This gives us a competitive advantage in developing solvent based and water based systems.
[Transcript] "Hello I'm Marina Ruleva. I am a R&D operations manager at Tapemark and today we're talking about our commercial coating capabilities. Our equipment has wide ranges. For example, we can set our temperatures as low as 100 degrees Fahrenheit and we can go as high as 350 degrees Fahrenheit. And for our coating width, we can coat as narrow as three inches wide and as wide as 22 inches. And as for our line speeds, we can set the equipment around as low as 0.8 feet per minute and as fast as 65 feet per minute. Because of that,we have a competitive advantage developing both solvent based systems and water based systems. And for example, when we coat water-based systems we use high temperatures and lower speeds and for our solvent based systems we use lower temperatures and higher speeds. Thank you for watching."
